Chelsea Van Essen (Course Instructor)
Chelsea is a passionate social justice advocate, entrepreneur, and outdoor educator. Beginning her first anti-trafficking organization during her undergraduate studies, today, she continues to fight alongside others for their restoration and freedom as a Founder and the Clinical Director of Logos Healing Institute. Chelsea has a Master of Social Work degree, is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and has over nine years of guiding experience leading deep wilderness trips in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. Chelsea loves learning about the way God created us and utilizing that knowledge to guide others in forming deeper relationships and community.
Andrew Arnold (Course Instructor)
Andrew is the Executive Director and Instructor Trainer for Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries (SROM). He has been a practitioner of experiential based discipleship, leadership development and learning for 20 years. Andrew has trained and developed over 350 people to lead others in wilderness and outdoor settings and he has been an instructor and facilitator to thousands of students.
Jessica Roberts (Logistical/Customer Support)
Jessica is an avid adventurer, passionate social justice advocate, and loves finding creative solutions to complex problems. She co-founded Logos Healing Institute in 2019 alongside Chelsea Van Essen and co-founded Liminal Leadership in 2021. Jessica holds a Master of Science degree in Management and a Master of Social Work. Over the last 10 years, Jessica has walked alongside adolescents and adults struggling with mental health challenges and strongly believes that God is always at work bringing every person toward who they were created to be.
